Nursing Home Scorecard
The Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services maintains surveys on nursing home facilities. These surveys note how many key requirements are met by each nursing facility. Each facility is scored in five areas:
- Residents’ Rights
- Food Service
The scores are then added together, and the cumulative score is assigned to the facility.
The statewide score average is 122, with a maximum possible score of 132. Listed below are the nursing facilities that fall below the statewide average. If you suspect that a loved one may be a victim of nursing home abuse or elder care neglect, or if you have questions about the facilities on this list please contact Hoey Law for a confidential consultation.
